Ride for Refugees rider Kevin Smokorowski

Kevin Smokorowski

I’m Kevin Smokorowski and I’ve been married to my beloved wife, Dyane for 25 years. We’ve lived in Andover KS for 16 years. We have one adult son who resides in Florida. I’m employed at Foley Equipment, our local Caterpillar Dealership, as a Master Engine Rebuild Technician.

I bought my first gravel bike during the pandemic as a way to stay active with others. I’ve since participated in many organized gravel rides/races and met many new friends. In June of 2023 I was a crew member for an 8-man team that participated in Race Across America(RAAM). In my spare time I enjoy working on cars, riding bicycles, traveling and spending time with my wife.

I’ve felt God guiding me to become more active at Hope Community Church and to help others in need to allow me to grow in my faith. My wife and I’ve been attending Hope for three years. I’m excited to be a part of something as epic as Ride 4 Refugees. I’m looking forward to this upcoming challenge to support refugees by doing something that I love – and hanging out with a great group of Christians.
